Grid-Tie System

Our Grid-Tie Solar Packages connect your home to both solar panels and the electricity grid. You use free solar power during the day and the grid at night. If your panels make extra energy, you can even get credit from your power company.

Solar + Battery System

Keep your lights on, even when the power goes out. Our Battery Packages store the extra solar energy your panels make, so you can use it at night or during blackouts. Perfect for families who want more control and security.

How Solar Works

A simple guide to how solar power turns sunlight into clean, cost-saving energy for your home.

01

Sunlight Hits the Solar Panels

Solar panels, usually mounted on your roof, absorb sunlight using photovoltaic (PV) cells. These cells convert the sun’s energy into direct current (DC) electricity — the first step in generating renewable power.

02

The Inverter Converts DC to AC Power

Your home runs on alternating current (AC) electricity. The inverter transforms the DC energy produced by your panels into usable AC power, ready to run your lights, appliances, and heating systems.

03

Power Your Home First

The solar electricity you produce powers your home directly. On sunny days, most of your energy needs can be met straight from your solar system, reducing your reliance on the grid.

04

Send Excess Energy Back to the Grid (or Store It)

If your panels generate more electricity than you use, the surplus is either exported to the National Grid (earning you credits through the Smart Export Guarantee) or stored in a solar battery for later use — such as at night or on cloudy days.

05

Track Your Savings in Real Time

Most systems include smart monitoring, allowing you to see how much energy you’re generating, using, and saving. It’s a clear, data-driven way to understand your home’s energy efficiency.
