Why Solar Hub

Three things that
set us apart.

No shortcuts. No off-the-shelf packages. Just engineer-led solar from a SEANZ Authorised Provider.

01

Tier-1 products only

Every panel, battery and inverter we install is Bloomberg Tier 1 rated. No untested gear, no white-label compromises — just brands that will still be making good on their warranty in 25 years.

02

Designed by in-house engineers

Your system is designed by our own engineering team — not a sales rep with a calculator, not the electrician on install day. Real engineering: roof analysis, string sizing, export modelling.

03

Clean Energy Council Approved

We're a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer and SEANZ Authorised Provider. Independent industry bodies have signed off on our practices, products and after-sales service.

Good questions

The things people ask us first

It depends on your roof, your power usage and your retailer — so we always quote a range, never a single guess. Most Kiwi homes land somewhere between a 6kW and 10kW system. Use the calculator above for an indicative figure, then we'll confirm it with an engineer-checked design.

Not necessarily. Without a battery you'll typically self-consume around a third of what you generate and export the rest. A PylonTech battery lifts that to roughly 70% by storing daytime solar for the evening. We'll show you both options with honest numbers so you can decide.

Yes — we manage the whole project for you, from engineer-led design through installation to the final inspection and Certificate of Compliance. You have one point of contact throughout, and every install is backed by our 10-year workmanship guarantee.

Tier-1 gear we're happy to stand behind for the long haul: LONGi panels and PylonTech batteries and inverters. Premium components, engineer-matched to your home.

A simple, staged schedule: 60% deposit on signing, 30% on install day, and the final 10% on inspection and Certificate of Compliance. Finance options include Q Card 50-month interest-free and the major banks' green home loans.
