Our newest install brings solar and battery storage to a home in the Bay of Plenty. Solar Hub designed and installed a complete hybrid system — generation on the roof, storage in the garage — built entirely around tier-1 hardware and long-dated warranties.
The system
- Solar array: 10.45kW — 22 × LONGi Hi-MO X10 475W panels (LR7-54HVH-475M)
- Inverter: Force H3X Single Phase Hybrid Inverter, 8kW (PylonTech, FH3X8K-HY-1P)
- Battery storage: PylonTech, 10.24kWh total (2 × FH10050)
By design, the system is sized to generate an estimated 13,042 kWh of clean energy per year.

The install
The LONGi panels were mounted across the home's concrete-tile roof. Inside the garage, the PylonTech battery, Force H3X hybrid inverter and the PV and battery isolators were installed together for safe, easy access.
